Polyglycolic acid (PGA) is a biodegradable, thermoplastic polymer. This tube is made from Polyglycolic acid which has excellent properties.
PGA has excellent gas barrier properties, abrasion resistance, and solvent
resistance. PGA is also eco-friendly because it is biodegradable. It is
decomposed into water and carbon dioxide in compost after one month. It
can retain its properties at normal environmental conditions for one year.
This tube has superior gas barrier properties at high-temperature because
of its density. Its bending strength is as good as PEEK tubes. As compared
to engineering plastic tubes, it has excellent mechanical strength. It
also has excellent abrasion resistance as compared to PEEK and PPS.
It has excellent resistance to organic solvents. Eco-friendly and high value-added products can be designed because of its excellent properties.
